In the book Rebecca a girl unnamed, but soon to be known as Mrs. De Winter, by the author goes through a harsh time because she has no family and is an apprentice to a not so nice women named Mrs. Van Hopper. Soon while Mrs. Van Hopper is stuck in bed the narrator meet Mr. De Winter. Later on, Mr. De Winter and the narrator ,in an awkward way, get in a relationship. Mr. De Winter comes from the great Manderley in Southern France, so the narrator now live a different life with Mr. De Winter and many servants. In Manderley, the now, Mrs. De Winter must face criticism, her own self consciousness, and most importantly the old Mrs. De Winter, who is also known as Rebecca. This book is slow and takes quite a while to get to the point. Honestly I was not into the book till the very end. This suspenseful Cinderella story may take a while to get into but I say stick it through because it has an awesome twist at the end.
