This sequel may be even better than the first. She lost nothing in her technique in her writing as some do. I liked that she gave reviewed a little during the first few chapters because it's been a while since I read "A Great and Terrible Beauty." I can barely wait for the next book in this trilogy. There is certainly some twists I never expected. I hated to put it down and finally go to bed.
It is now Christmastime and Gemma goes home for two weeks. She has destroyed the runes in the realms, and she thought she has bound the magic. She soon finds out that she has released the magic so that others can get the magic. Now she must find out who Circe is and how to destroy her and bind the magic.
