Part of the Simon Pulse Romantic Comedy series, this is a short and simple, yet enjoyable read - what you'd expect really from the way it's advertised. I've heard a lot about the series almost all of which was good, yet when reading Ripped At The Seams, which was it has admitted the better of those that I read, I was unable to see why so many people though it was great.
Sami Granger heads from the Midwest to New York City, a place where her dreams can truely be created. Wishing to become a designer her first job creates more problems that sorts out when her boss uses her designs taking all the credit and then fires her when she makes her fuss. Soon, with rent to pay and no job she finds herself working at a trashy lingerie store, where surely she cannot achieve her dreams.
Only capturing my attention for a small amount of the book, it was however an enjoyable light read and gave me a warm fuzzy feeling inside when, inevitably, things all get tidied up nicely. So even though it isn't that memerable and at some time feels fake and forced, I'd still reccomend getting it out of your library and reading when you just have a short moment to relax.
