Royal drama, scandal, AND a murder mystery? Yeah, we were OBSESSED!
Our book club took on Royal Blood by Aimee Carter, and let’s just say the group chat was chaotic!
Here’s how our reactions broke down:
The Drama Lover: Illegitimate royal daughter + messy family tension?? I was eating this UP. The vibes were giving modern monarchy chaos, and I loved every second.
The Mystery Fan: Okay, but the MURDER?? I did not see that coming. I kept changing my theory every few chapters.
The Character Critic: Evan is such a strong main character. She’s thrown into this brutal spotlight and still manages to stand her ground respect.
The Tea Spiller: The scandals?? The secrets?? The PRESS?? This book is basically one long episode of royal gossip, and I couldn’t look away.
The Shocked Reader: Every time I thought I had it figured out, NOPE. Plot twist after plot twist.
The Emotional Reader: Lowkey felt bad for Evan. Imagine being dragged into the royal family and immediately becoming a suspect in a murder?? The stress
Overall, we all agreed that this book is the perfect mix of royal intrigue, high-stakes mystery, and juicy secrets. It’s fast-paced, addictive, and seriously bingeable, like if your favorite royal drama series suddenly turned into a murder investigation.
If you love stories packed with scandal, suspense, and a main character fighting to clear her name, this is a must-read for your book club.
