SAMANTHA SPINNER AND THE SUPER SECRET PLANS takes you on a historical adventure as Sam and her brother Nipper search for their missing uncle. When their uncle is presumed dead, Nipper gets the New York Yankees, their sister gets $2,400,000,00, and Samantha gets a boring umbrella.
At first, Sam is upset, but she soon realizes that it's no ordinary umbrella. It holds super secret plans and may be Nipper and Sam's only hope at finding their uncle. Along the way, there are several puzzles that must be solved before they can move on. As they travel to different parts of the world, they're attacked by ninjas who want the umbrella with the secret plans for themselves. Sam and Nipper have to hurry, before the ninjas catch them.
I really like the historical element to this book. It's not only intriguing, but also educational. Sam and Nipper are the perfect characters for a fun and exciting story like this one. There are also some facts and answers to puzzles hidden in the book at the end.
Final Verdict: This is a very interactive Middle Grade Fiction book and I would recommend it to fans of puzzles, history, adventure, and action.
