Becky is back from her year round honeymoon. Luke goes immediately and leaves Becky all alone by herself. Her best friend also leaves her for a cool brand new friend. Beck is all alone, but this is okay because she finds out she has a sister! Except her sister does not like to shop (imagine!!!). Chaos ensues and Becky handles it her own special way.
I love Becky. She is funny, and loves life. She is great and makes me laugh. I love her i do,i do.

I'm a huge fan of the shopaholic series although I was finding them to be a little over the top the more they went on, which still didn't stop me from buying the next one just to see what happened to Becky next. Shopaholic and Sister started off as they always do with Becky never being able to say no to the perfect pair of shoes or that one of a kind handbag, but the story took a great twist with her long lost sister coming into the picture and showed a new side to Bekky when she tries to find common ground with her sister Jess. I found it to be a heartfelt book with all the great laughs I got out of the other shopaholic books I just couldn't seem to put it down, without giving away the ending it looks like there may be another shopoholic in the works and after reading this one I sure hope so it was worth waiting for.

As Becky and Luke return from their 10 month honeymoon ready to suprise everyone(Becky's idea of coarse!)it doesn't turn out as planned. Becky's parents seem to be hideing something from her, and when she finds out that she has a "long lost" sister she is thrilled she can't wait to have a sister to have heart to heart talks, sisters nights out, and most importantly to shop with!! Well... i'll just say her sister doesn't exactly turn out to be the person she was thought she would be. Meanwhile Becky's best friend Suze has found another close friend while Becky was travelling, and they seem to have grown apart after not seeing each other for so long.

Overall I would have to say that this book was pretty awesome!! I haven't read any other shopaholics books but after reading this book i'm definatelly going to.

this book was kind of disappointing. everyone said that the shopaholic series was great. even though i found my self chuckling every now and then it wasn't enough to get this book more than an average rating fom me.
sophie kinsella is a great writer. i have read can you keep a secret and it was one of my fav books. i guess that's why i was let down by shopaholic and sister. i had hoped it would be just as good.
i haven't read the rest of the shopaholic series yet, but i will.
even though i didn't like this book so much i still recomend it. the ending was quite funny and i would love to find out how a certain somthing at the end turns out. you'll know what i mean when you read the book.

This book was fantastic. Becky Bloomwood is back once again. It's after her honeymoon with Luke, and they're returning to London as a surprise. But things seem a bit wierd. That's because she finds she has a long, lost sister. She's so excited. They can shop, talk, do makeovers, etc. That is until she finds out her sister is exactly the opposite of her and no fun at all. Things get out of hand when she feels she's losing her best friend and that her marriage with Luke is falling apart. So she turns back to her sister to learn how to be a better, more money-smart person. But its harder than she thought. But who would want Becky Bloomwood to change?
This book was fast-paced and a lot of fun to read. It's lovely and includes so many interesting and exciting parts that intertwine with each other. It'll keep you wanting more. And the end leaves you on a tangent. Be ready for another Shopaholic book coming soon. I desperately hope!
