Very predictable being the fact that there was a book with a different title but same plot that was written centuries before this. If you're gonna write something--be original. There's nothing new here. Same old stuff. The author even dedicated the book to Daniel Day-Lewis, the actor in the movie adaptation of the book! Well, let me tell you: both the book and the movie is better than this one. The author just said it was a Beauty and the Beast remake just to take your attention away from the fact that it's set during the French and Indian war intsead of 18th century France. She doesn't fool me! I saw right through this book! Not enjoyable and the very same thing as the other book mentioned above. Stay away from this book!
