This novel by Meg Cabot is unlike her Mediator series and princess tales. Those who have read Meg Cabot's All American Girl will find comfort in its fimiliarity. The plots different but the voice is practically the same. In this novel highschool student Jessica Dearly is every's confidant.She is the "mayonaisee" that holds everyone together but he she is assigned to guide young, famous and cute actor Luke Striker while he reaseaches the southern highschool atmosphere for his next upcoming film, Jessica with the help of Luke discovers that being the "mayonaise" isn't good enough. You have to inflict change and want things to change not just sit by and try to mend the brocken pieaces. I personally enjoyed this book better than ALl AMerican Girl don't be decieved by the cover this book was better than I expected! :)
