Every teen should read this book. I plan on recommending it to the English Dept as a summer-read! It would also make a great book to read and discuss as a class. The story is very current and realistic.
McDaniel does a fabulous job of getting the reader into the heads of the characters who are struggling to live with their part in Christina's death. This was a sad but poignant book.

I thought that this book was really good. It was sad but had some extremly good detail. This book got me into tears and that does not happen very often. This is a book that almost everyone can relate to, it brought the reader right into the book. It is as if you were right there seeing everything that was happening. Really good book!

I love all lurlene mcdaniels books but i have to say this is one of my favorites. this book made me cry. She brought the book to life with all the emotion and the sadness you have to face when you lose someone thats dear and near to you. This book is about a girl trisha, trisha loses a friend in a car accident and her boyfriend is in a coma and her struggle to look forward to the future.

Trisha Thompson and her best friend Christina are having a great senior year. Trisha and her boyfriend, Cody, are making plans to attend Indiana University together in the fall, while Christina has already received a scholarship to the University of Vermont. Everything would be perfect if only Trisha got along with Christinas controlling boyfriend Tucker, who is trying to convince Christina not to go away for college. But suddenly their lives change one night when Tucker is driving the four home from an away basketball game. When his car hits a patch of black ice and overturns, Tucker walks away with barely a scratch, but Trisha is injured, Cody is in a coma, and Christina is dead. Those left behind must learn that it takes time for their scarsboth visible and notto heal. And they must find the courage to move on with their lives.

I recommend this to anyone who wants to laugh and who wants to cry. A real tear jerker. This amazing story, keeps you on the edge of you seat and keeps you turning the pages with tears in your eyes. One of the most well written stories I've ever read. An amazing book that you just can't put down.

This book was sad but awsome. It was about a few teenagers who get in a car crash. None of them have on seatbelts so the concquence were horrable. Someone dies, gets in a coma, and had magor scars and inguregys.............Not good!

Christina's boyfriend is too controlling of her life. He asks her to marry her. and she doesnt know what to say. Then it all comes crashing to an end when Christina dies in a car accident. Her best friend is injured and her friend's boyfriend is in a coma. Christina's boyfriend leaves without a scratch. The book is mainly about how Christina's friends and family come to terms with her intimely death!
This book is really good, yet sad. I reccomend it too people who enjoy sad but inspirational books.
