GIRLS ON FILM continues the story of Anna Percy, a New York transplant in Beverly Hills. Anna is still trying to avoid Ben and his lies, but now she has bigger problems when her sister Susan leaves rehab and comes to L.A. The other girls in school who were rejected by Ben also continue to try and make her life miserable.

Nice guy Adam has possibilities, but he can't make her forget Ben. A new internship is harder than she thought, and a family emergency may cut that opportunity short.

Cammie is a bit of a revenging female catty stereotype here, and Anna's tentative new friendship with Sam seems untrustworthy as well.

This was a great book. The Hollywood life seems great, but their are some secrets. Ben goes back to Princton eventually. Anna and Sam get paired up for a school project and they definitly will do their best, since they are making a film. Susan leaves rehab and Cammie does not help her. In fact Cammie ends up hurting Susan and Anna at a party for APEX.

This was in my opinion the best out of the four books. My favorite parts in the book is when the people for Anna and Sam's movie are in the sauna and Ben comes in looking for Anna but they get locked in. I thought that was funny. I also liked the part when Anna is at the beach and Ben finds her and tells her the truth about why he deserted her on New Years Night. This book was very good I stayed up til 3 O'clock in the morning reading because I couldn't put it down.

Lets just say Ive always wished to live in California rather than on the East Coast. Zoey Deans The A-List and Girls on Film make me want to even more. At first, I didnt think Girls on Film was quite as good as the first A-List novel, but when reading it for a second time, I realized how wrong I was. If anything, it was probably better than the first. Girls on Film focused more on Anna than Cammie, Dee, and Sam (though of course the trio was added for a little bit of spice). Also, I thought Susan, Annas sister, added a lot more enthusiasm and action to the book. I was interested in her behavior and you kept reading to see how long she could last without a drink of alcohol. Also, I was glad with the way Anna handled things with Ben, especially since she really stood her ground. It really shows you that fame and fortune arent everything. In a way, Anna is someone you can look up to and definitely someone you could respect. This fast-paced novel will keep you on the couch (or wherever it is you read) from page one to page 256. And in the end, Girls on Film has a surprising twist, leaving you yearning for the third, Blonde Ambition.
