Techinically, I'll give it a 3.5 stars.

Our main character, Dani, loves baseball. She loves baseball so much that she has herself convinced that maybe it's her tomboyness that keeps the boys away. Yet an opportunity presents itself when there are baseball players that play in the summer league that need homes. Now she has the chance of incorporating the two things she loves most: boys and baseball.

Of course, she's made a pact with her mother not to fall in love with the boy her family's hosting, but that boy is the connection she needs to a whole team of different guys. Along with her best friend Bird, she plots, and then their plan hitches off to a start.

There's a problem though. Dani's family is hosting Jason, hot and adorable Jason, and whereas she can ignore the instant attraction at first, it doesn't last long. Soon, Dani's thinking about risking it all with the boy off limits to give her the romance she craves.

It was cute, there was nothing wrong with it except for the fact that there was no soul prodding message. However, I would rate this romance novel above many others because it passed by quickly and sucked me into the novel.
