wat a good book! it is mainly about two african american sisters that grow up during racial times. they both grow up with an abusive father and one of the sisters gets pregnant by him! it turns out that he was not their real father and that they both end up greeting each other again ( the sisters) and buy a house together. i really loved this book and enjoyed the fact that the book can kind of pull you into how the sisters lived. two thumbs way up!
