Haven is a person you just instantly like. She's one of those spunky, determined real-life Cinderella characters. She has her faults and she has her strong points. I liked her backstory that went all the way to her mother's first love and I especially liked her other backstory. Her life before she was reincarnated. There was a mystery to be solved throughout the book, that went back centuries, and it was obvious Haven herself, couldn't do it alone. With the help of her friend, Beau, she made it through. The ending was fresh and unsuspected. All these elements poured together one great book. If you want a new paranormal romance, I'd suggest you pick up this book!
