Review Detail
5.0 1Book one in a trilogy, the first installment in the series does not disappointment. Here we find Jenny seeking to throw the ultimate birthday party for her boyfriend. In her quest to instill a little classic fun with their friendly gathering she happens upon a mysterious store built right into a mural on the wrong side of town. (Nothing strange there, right?) Upon entering, she meets a blond haired bad boy (Julian) who directs her to a quaint board game that promises more than your average thrills. Intrigued, she buys the game, leaves the store, and never looks back...well, almost. She has a strange feeling about this little game. Even when they gather to celebrate later on and open the box to what appears to be your basic "follow-the-path" game, it all feels off somehow.
With good reason! Shortly thereafter, they find themselves in the strange game and in a race against time to save their lives! Jenny sensed danger, but did not herald it's warning and now the price she's being asked to pay may be higher than she could have dreamed....
Are you game?
(Although copies can be a little harder to find nowadays, I defnitely recommend seeking this series out!) Happy reading!
