The second installment of The Hollywood Sisters features more mystery on the set. After catching the thief working on set, Jessica thought that her troubles were over. Finally, she could relax with Jeremy, her new boyfriend and the male lead of Two Sisters. Unfortunately, Jess isnt getting much of a break from sleuthing and her relationship with Jeremy is on the rocks.

Now, a new prankster is sabotaging the set, starting out by sending a skunk to Jessicas older sister Eva during her MTV interview! And the worst part is that Jessica seems to be in the middle of all the pranks. But really, shes just trying to help. The producer seems even more determined than ever to get rid of Jessica, since shes been seen as a jinx ever since that marmalade incident with Ashton Kutcher.

If the situation with the pranks isnt enough, Jessicas blossoming romance with Jeremy is kaput when she sees him kissing Paige on the red carpet. Shed like to believe Jeremy when he says that it was just a publicity stunt, but she cant trust him anymore after he humiliated her by smooching Paige on national TV!

Mary Wilcox does a great job of telling the story from Jessicas point of view. She uses a very candid voice that is believable for a young teen girl. However, The Hollywood Sisters: On Location, was a little too similar to its predecessor. The storyline of sabotage on set and Jessica trying to save the day was identical to the plot of the first Hollywood Sisters novel. I would have liked to see another side of Eva and Jessicas Hollywood life, and I hope that Caught On Tape, the next installment of The Hollywood Sisters, veers away from this static plot. Another mystery to me is why Jessica is always with Eva on set and at cast parties etc. It seems to me that Jessica should be going to school or pursuing her own hobbies rather than tagging along with Eva at all times.

Regardless of a few inconsistencies, The Hollywood Sisters is sure to satisfy young star-struck girls who love watching E!
