Review Detail

I couldn't wait to read this sequel to The Dark Divine. It's possible I went into the book with too many expectations (since I love the first book so much), because the plot didn't quite feel as cohesive as I wanted. Or maybe it felt like that because of the strained relationship between Grace and Daniel. I don't want strain! I want swoony! :)

But that aside, I did enjoy the book, and I will happily read book 3. The characters are insightfully revealed, the writing is solid, and the ending??? I nearly threw the book across the room! What a plot twist!

I highly recommend this series.
