Each time I read this I am inspired again by the master story teller that T.A. Barron is. He incorperates his love for mythology, nature, and adventure into one book. This book Shows just what we should strive to be. Brave. Brave enough to face our enemies even though we are pretty sure they will destroy us. These books redefined the view I had of Merlin. I used to think him a crusty old man, but Barron showed me what lay hidden beneath the hard exterior.
