When Tom gets hit in the head with a ball, he earns himself a bed in Lord Funt Hospital. What he didn't anticipate was that he would make some new friends and have some great adventures. There's Amber with broken limbs, George who had his tonsils taken out, Robin who had eye surgery and can't see at the moment, and Sally who's very sick.

With a strict staff, like the Matron, working in the hospital, it should be hard to do anything. But once the clock strikes midnight, the fun begins. The gang goes down to the basement and visit The North Pole with a little help from the porter and that's just the start to Tom's adventure.

THE MIDNIGHT GANG is a very engaging book with different sized fonts and fun pictures. There's also a lot of humor in it and lightens up the fact that they're staying in a hospital. The author does an excellent job at sparking your imagination.

Final Verdict: I would recommend this book to children ages eight and up who like a good laugh or who just really like entertaining stories. It's also good for those who like adventures.
