I had remembered hearing about how great the movie was and I had decided to get the book. I absolutely adored it. It was such a memorable book, from the plot, ending, characters. It was just so beautiful to see a real life fairy tale unwind. For every chapter you read, you get more and more interested in the book and Nicholas Sparks does an amazing job of adding that tiny bit of drama, yet not making it too dramatic. It was one of the best books that I've ever read and even though it was a bit mature for my age, I felt like the love was the most important part and theme throughout this entire story. I wouldn't hold back on recommending the book to anyone.

"The Notebook" by Nicholas Sparks was about the life of Noah and Allie and where they first meet in their hometown. They're both only in their teens at this point, but they've already madly fallen in love with each other. However, her parents are rich snobs who don't see anything good about Noah and force them to break up. Her parents don't see anything but young love from this relationship. After the two go their separate ways, Allie becomes engaged, while Noah is still trying to find a way to get back Allie. When Allie comes back to see Noah, will they find their way back together? Are their feelings gone? The themes that showed through in the book were love and definitely withstanding love and it really is a must read.

You must get this book! My heart melted while reading it. You can feel the emotions and I frankly have yet to find an actual book that can communicate feelings as vividly as Nicholas Sparks had. The way Nicholas Sparks writes is like an exact romantic and I love love. I felt like this book might have toyed with your emotions just a little bit, but it was okay because it was actually enjoyable. The themes of happiness, sadness, love, and faith really do come to show with the fate of these characters. I would recommend this to anyone 13 or older, but there are some mature scenes.

• The Notebook is a novel about the life of two soul mates, Noah and Allie, from when they were only teenagers to the end of their lives.

Opinion

• This book is a page-turner for readers of all ages. The Notebook is so intriguing because each section of the book never lets you down. The author, Nicholas Sparks, always leaves the reader thinking about the next turn Allie and Noah’s relationship may take. This book was definitely one of the best love stories I have yet to read.

Good Points
This book was such a phenomenal love story that I wasn't able to put down. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in reading realistic fictional love stories. This was one of my favorite books by Nicholas Sparks. I loved how he made the reader feel as though they were in the story with the characters. He also made the reader feel like they knew the characters personally and were eager to find out what happens next!

                      The Notebook

In the 1940s in the state of North Carolina live Noah and Allie. They are two completely different people. Allie is a rich girl and her parents just want what they feel is best for her. Noah has always had to work for things to get what he wants. But now at 17 Noah wants to find someone to be with so his friends introduce him to Allie. Over the summer Allie and Noah fall in love unconditionally. Yet, Allies parents think shes too good for him. So, they move away. Noah writes Allie everyday with no response. Now, after ten years Allie returns engaged and confused.  Feeling all the emotions of that one summer return back to her and she has to make a decision that will change her future completely.

I would recommend The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks because it has many emotions within its pages. Theres love, sadness, happiness, and tragedy. Nicholas Spark captures ever important moment needed for a powerful romance novel.  Not only is this book extremely emotional but it is also very inspirational. Inspirational in a life changing sort of way. Many of the people that read this book may long for a love like this, and it can be very inspiring to get up and go find it. This book is also entertaining (obviously). So much emotion can lead to an entertaining story such as this one.

As I was reading The Notebook I found it to be an exceptionally great book. It was very emotional and you could feel what Nicholas Sparks wanted you to feel in every word. It is a very powerful love story. Every page you read will only make you want to read more and more. I would recommend it to anyone interested in romance novels. This would be a great choice for people with interests such as those.

I read this book before the movie hit theatres, and I thought it was wonderfully written, and perfectly conveyed the love of the main characters.  When I saw the movie, I was thankfully hit with the main characters chemistry, however there is something about reading a book, and comparing it to its movie, even if the actors are your favorite actors, that reminds you of times in the book that melted your heart or touched your life, and really brought you into the story.  The movie was wonderful, but even if you have seen the movie, I would definitely recommend reading the book, because there is more to the story in the book that is missed in the movie!

What can I say about Allie and Noah? They have the romance that every couple wants. They endure separation, other partners, fights, rejection by parents.. everything imaginable. Yet, they remain in love.

Everyone should read this. It's amazing. Of course, Nicholas Sparks wrote it. This man is a literary genius!

The Notebook is the best love story ever written.

Nicholas Sparks outdid himself with this book. Its heart-wrenching and heart-warming all at the same time. Its about two young people who fall in love during one summer, Allie and Noah. They are torn apart at the end of the summer and never speak again, until about 10 years later or more Allie finds Noah because she wants to see him before she gets married, and they fall in love all over again.

I hated the movie, but we all know that the movie is ALWAYS worse then the book. I know that from experience. So i took the book from my mom's friend and read it.

This was such a horrible book, it has put me off on all of his books forever. This was so stupid, i didn't beleive anything in the book was really happening.

And I usually beleive everything!

I was very excited to read this book after I saw the movie because I'd heard that there were certain aspects of it that were different from the movie. Unfortunately, I found it much less interesting than the movie. There were points that I enjoyed the way the author describes the love that Allie and Noah had, but I would really recommend that you watch the movie afterwards so that the disappointment isn't as great. Despite the fact that I enjoyed the movie better, I still am grateful for the story that this author introduced to readers.
