Ok let's seewhere, do I begin? Let's start with the cover. The cover is actual clip art and word art, pasted into a blank white page, screenshotted, and submitted for use as the cover of a book. The title is redundant an unintriguing, and the only thing that the story has to do with the yin-yang is that Cody appears to be struggling withas, the author was kind enough to point out twice on the cover and once in the description, "his other side".

But let's not judge a book by it's cover. What's the story about? Well, the summary pretty much describes the whole book. A kid named Cody gets upset and stuff happens. The end. In fact, you may as well stop at the summary, because that's the best and most well written part of the book. There is very little character development, literary themes are wielded like a troll wields a tree trunk club, and dear God the symbolism is a mess that punches you in the face whenever it is presented. There is very little finesse or subtlety in the book at all. The plot twists were predictable. The storyline was cliché. I think I can safely say this was the worst book I have ever read.

Do yourself a favor and read another book instead. Any other book is fine, just not this book. Reading it may bring out your "other side" (whatever the hell that means).
