This one of the latest Princess Diaries books. Its a good read if you want something quick and fun, and of course if you don't want to miss a word of Mia's diary. This book takes place during her Christmas break that she is spending in Genovia. She's rather be in New York with her new baby sibling and parents, but she promised her Dad. At least her best friend Lilly and her boyfriend Michael are coming to spend it with her. She can't wait. But things are going a bit haywire. Lilly is acting very rude and is just speaking her mind to everyone in the royal house. Mia just wants to spend some private time with Michael, but it's hard when she has to attend numerous royal Genovian functions. And Mia is having problems trying to find him the perfect Christmas present. Then something unexpected happens that puts everybody back into a much better mood and forgets (almost) about the chaos that happend at Grandmere's Christmas party.
All is finally well when Mia learns that finding the most perfect present isn't the most important thing to worry about. True love doesn't depend on a gift won off ebay. This book went by very fast; just an hour to read. And everything went by really quick. But you'll still love reading about Mia and how she deals. This book is still a must read for all Princess Diaries' fans. Hopefully, the next book will be longer and more involved.
