The Royal Diaries: Cleopatra VII, Daughter of the Nile, is the diary of Cleopatra VII through her teenage years. Being the pharoh's daughter should be great, but it is not always so. Her older sister is a terrible tyrant nd abuses her power, and it is suspected that she is trying to steal the thrown from her own father. Cleopatra suspects her sister of plotting to kill her, and she hears the people of egypt plotting to rebel.

THis book is very exciting and also educational without being dull. I love egypt and learning about history so this was a very good book for me. I love how Cleopatra is always talking to Isis and praying to her. I would recommend this book to anyone looking to find a good weekend book, or just fans of history.
