This is the one summer reading book I would have read without it being assigned. The main character is really weird, and she starts fires. But as she tells her story, about her mom, about growing up on a beach, about what she's afraid of, you can't stop thinking about her even when you are done reading.
I read this (me, Kay) then I gave it to my bff Chrissa and she thought the same thing. Loved this one.
