I thought this was a great book! Ane Rice has an excellent writing style (although, it may take a while to actually READ her books), accompanied by great characters,plot, and imagery. This was one of the more simpler of her books, compared to the first three, but it was still a captivating read, and I wouldn't mind having to read it again sometime soon. However, Rice's books do take quite a while to read, even if you are a faster reading, so you want to make sure to have a lot of time on your hands if you are planning on reading one of her books! :)  All in all, wonderful book, and I highly recommend that you read it, along with the first three books in her series, and I will be anticipating her next novel to be just as good! although, I will definitely give myself enough time to read it...
