How does one clear up the party-girl reputation of the most famous sixteen-year-old teen star in Hollywood? By sending her back to her old town to live with the absolutely normal family who is currently living in her old house, to star as an absolutely normal teenager in her own reality show, of course!
The reluctant party-girl is Theodora Twist, born Dora Twistler. The "absolutely normal" host is Emily Fine, whose name only about three people in the entire school know. She lives with her mom, stepdad, and baby half-sister. Theodora's People are delighted because Emily is perfectly average, which will be the best thing for Theodora's reputation.
The two girls have in common that their fathers both died, but other than that they think they are opposites. Can Emily and Theodora survive living with one another for six weeks, up until their prom, for which their dates will be picked through a Blind-Dating Game? Does Theodora really like Emily, or does she just put on an act for the camera?
THEODORA TWIST is different from other novels about teen starlets because it's got heart. You will learn to like the characters and their flaws, and cheer for them through their emotional ghosts. The side story about Emily's growing family is also very touching and real. THEODORA TWIST is a quick but touching read that any girl can enjoy.
