Arden Munro is seventeen, filing emancipation, and greiving for her so-called "dead brother", Scott. She feels totally alone and isolated; both her parents are dead, and now her brother has gone missing. Arden is the only person in her entire Northern Minnisota community that believe that Scott staged his snowmobile accident to free himself from the ropes that for so long have tied him down.
This gripping, edge-of-your-seat mystery was masterfully written!
