Few know its power.

“ She felt the planet coming apart that night, a tender tearing at the seams that would eventually split the world wide open.”

What a follow up from Patrick Carman! The second book in the Pulse series doesn’t disappoint. It is rare that a sequel surpasses its predecessor- Tremor is even better than Pulse. Characters are more developed, the twists in the plot, and the world building is incredible.

Dylan is willing to do whatever it takes to protect what is important to him. He is going into enemy territory and there is more on the line than even he thought possible. Faith helps keep Dylan steady and focused- but can she keep him from breaking? Faith’s anger is still not under control and all the half-truths and lies are starting to get to her. She is tired of sticking to the plan- of following orders. Is she willing to do whatever it takes to keep Dylan safe? So many twists and turns. The entire story kept me on the edge of my seat. What will happen to Dylan and Faith? And will their only weakness be the end of them- readers will just have to wait until they read Tremor.

There is so much intensity I kept turning pages and before I knew it -an hour had passed. The book ends abruptly and now I cannot wait for the next book. Perfect!

Tremor (and Pulse) is a great read for those who enjoy dystopian and fantasy adventure books.
