Morgan Callahan has a problem. Ok, more than one. First and foremost, she's a candidate for klutziest girl on the planet. Second, she has a broken leg. Third, she's been pawned off on her absentee dad in Aruba, while her newly remarried mother goes jetsetting with her new husband. Fourth, Morgan meets Cy, her dad's assistant. Her dad's very cute assistant, but seems to have a girlfriend even though he also seems interested in Morgan. Fifth and finally, Morgan's dad is hiding something, and whatever it is, it's big, and Morgan fears it might even be illegal!
This book is so much fun. It should be trite and cheesy, but somehow, all of the mishaps Morgan finds herself in seem plausible, as does the relationship with Cy, and overall, the book works. It has plenty of funny moments (ones that actually made me laugh out loud) and enough drama to keep the intrigue going as well. It's a fun read anytime of the year, but it's just one of those books that are especially enjoyable during vacations!
