This book brings up an excellant question:
If you were given the chance to live forever, would you?
It really makes you stop and think...
Would I really want to see all of my loved ones grow old while I stayed the same...forever...
I recomend this book.

"....Never forgotten." "Probably one of the best work of our best children novelist." These are only a few things that major newspapers, and others thought about Tuck Everlasting. Who could resist this great adventure story that has your attention throughout the whole entire story? It's such a great book that it even became a major motion picture from Walt Disney Pictures!

Well, after attempting to find a book that mixes romantic reality with fiction very well, I have found it!!!

Tuck Everlasting tells a good story, and it is worthy to congratulate the author for her fine accomplishment with worthy plots, settings, time periods, and the reality of what it means to live forever.

If you are a Reader who wants a well-threaded tale, you won't find any loose strings here! From the beginning to end, you feel like you are right there, with the characters, with the world, knowing it takes JUST A SIP to be who you've always wanted to be.

I saw the movie and read the book, and the book was much better than the movie. I loved everything and I told my friends to read it and they loved it.

Tuck Everlasting is the story of a family that never ages. Destined to live forever, the family must hide away so that no one discovers their secret. Filled with imagination, the novel teaches the merits of mortality, which perhaps cannot quite be understood at the age this book was intended to be read (third to fifth grade). However, it's an interesting book and, I think, worth reading.

It's about the Tuck family who drinks this magic water from a pond in the woods and becomes invincible. A girl maned Winnie bumps into them and so begins the tale. She meets Jesse Tuck in a little clearing and they start talking. They kidnapp her and at first she was a little scared, but then starts to relax a bit. She lives with them and learns about their inmortality and the pond. A the while a man is spying on them and when they confront him Mae kills him and she then goes to jail. Winnie and the others go and rescue her and Jesse gives her a bottle of the magic water from the pond. He then leaves and Winnie has to make a chioce. Instead of drinking the water, she pours it on a frog and thus ends the story.

This is the best book ever!! The story is great and of course like most people,I have always felt that the ending is disappointing. Jesse is my favorite character and I love that he treats Winnie as an equal and not the little girl that she is. I highly recommend this book and if I were a teacher, I'd make it requirement to read it. It's great.

Winnie Foster is a young girl. She finds a spring that has a liquid bringing eternal life to anyone who drinks from it. She also meets the Tuck family, who has consumed this liquid and are eternal. Winnie and Jesse (a young looking son of the family) fall in love. Winnie must deal with their differences and the choice she must make to drink or not drink the liquid to be with Jesse.

This book is full of conflict and stupidity. I didn't enjoy this book very much because of its romance part. I think I liked the jail part. It was eerie. I recommend this book to ages 10 and up. I give it 2 stars because I didn’t totally hate it, but it was too stupid at sometimes.
