Ok, I liked this book. It was sweet, funny, and promising. Bella moves to a wet little town in Washington State and falls in love with a handsome vampire. Edward Cullen will probably become the next Mr. Darcy in two hundred years or so. What I loved the action and romance in this book. I also loved that Edward cared so much about Bella that he wouldn't turn her into a vampire. I really wish that I could go back in time and stop myself from reading the next three books, which progressively get worse. The end of Twilight was perfect and sometimes those books that have an ambiguous ending are great because they keep the reader dreaming long after the book has been closed. If you are a new reader please read this book and be satisfied enough not to read the others. I only pray that they wont make movies of the others as well.

My daughter (16 years old) is an avid reader and was hooked on Stephanie Meyer the instant she read "Twilight." She kept wanting me to read it, but I just never found the time.
Now, many of my 7th grade girls are reading it so I figured it was about time for me to read it too. I must say that I'm pleasantly surprised by this book.
It is basically a love story and one of the main characters is a vampire, but there are so many parts of the book that young adults can relate to. The characters deal with peer pressure, falling in love, trying to be accepted by others, etc.
My school library chooses not to carry this book, but I think I will put it in my classroom library very soon!

Human girl falls in love with a vampire. Vampire is torn between protecting the girl and killing her. What a dilemma!

For a vampire story, this is a surprisingly sweet romance and I was totally taken in. I'm not generally interested in paranormal books (vampires, werewolves, etc.), but I guess every rule has an exception.

One aspect of this series that raised it higher than the typical YA fluff was the author's references and parallels to classic works of literature (Pride and Prejudice, Wuthering Heights, Romeo and Juliet). For that reason, I think this series will have a wider appeal.

This book is stunning, simply amazing.

You get to meet Bella Swan who's moving in with her father in Forks Washington, in order to give her mom time with her new husband. Bella seems to think that her time in Forks will be dull that is untill she meets the Cullens. Bella knows instantly that they are not a normal family, and she knows that she will have Edward.

The first book in this amazing series is full of romance, suspense, and thrilling adventures! Deffently worth the read!

This is a funny, romantic, and adventurous book! I think that this one is the best in the series so far. It's really an amazing book! If you haven't read it yet, READ IT! Bella and Edward are a great couple. It's amzing what someone might do just for love. I think I would want to be a vampire, I would definately be a vegetarian. I would be great to be that strong and run that fast! Although not sleepong and thirsting for human blood would be a drag.

This book is truly amazing. The beginning is a bit uneventful but if you find it boring, don't put it down at first. Stephenie Meyer ties in both fantasy and real life in this book, so there's is a good part of both realistic fiction and fantasy.

You may be thinking vampires are evil monsters that suck people's blood out and only come out at night but once you read this you will love it!

Bella Swan is the main character, who is clumsy and seems to attract trouble like a magnet. She comes to the town of Forks to live with her father and meets the Cullens. They are a group of vampires who, in an attempt to be more humane, stopped drinking human blood and instead only animals (because even humans eat meat). She falls in love with Edward Cullen, who has the same feelings for her. However, soon a group of vampires who DO drink human blood come into the area... and Bella's blood is very appealing to them....

Bella Swan, a seventeen year old girl, lives an ordinary da-to-day life until she moves to the dreary and cold Forks where her father, Charlie lives. She then starts school at Forks High where she meets a very strange and peculiar looking family. They are all beautiful, with there pale skin and gold eyes but Bella is only interested in Edward Cullen with his touseled bronze hair and crooked smile. Little does she know that he is keeping a dark and dangerous secret from her. A secret that coul either save or destroy her life. Edward Cullen and his family are all vampires and Edward thirsts for Bella's blood.

In a four part series, 'Twilight' is the first of Stephenie Meyer's wonderful creation. The book came to Stephenie in a dream she had one night. Soon after, there lay the complicated love story between a vampire and human. Each detailed chapter of the book is a different dream from a different night. Stephenie would wake up of a morning and take notes on the latest addition of the never-ending story. After she had found the main plot of her novel she wrote it as a book and soon after it was published.

Teenagers and yound-adults alike all over the world sit and read 'Twilight' and are moved by the compelling characters and the great storyline that Stephenie's imagination has created. Althought the vampire theory sounds childish and fairytale like, the romantic side completes its maturity and encourages you to read more. Along with Stephenie Meyer's great writing skills and the fabulous moving of the characters as they go along their journey, 'Twilight' is definately on the list to be an enticing, well-known story like Romeo and Juliet or Cinderella. Even after finishing the book the story continues to stay with you in both your heart and mind. In my opinion the book has started a new revolution of stories to come alive an that the book series will always have someon in it's reach.
