UNDER THE MOON brings us into the teenage years of Selina Kyle, who will eventually become Catwoman. Selina has a rough home life with her mom's abusive boyfriend and she gets to a point where she can't take anymore. So, she runs away.

Living on the streets, she has trouble finding where she belongs and takes on her "catgirl" persona. She doesn't belong at home or school, but manages to keep a positive attitude. On the streets, she meets Ojo who teaches her parkour and invites her to join his group. When the loneliness gets too much, she accepts his invitation and meets a girl named Rosie who she starts to feel a connection with too. But she's worried nothing can last forever.

Catwoman is one of the few DC characters I didn't know much about and that may be a reason I enjoyed this book than others. Selina Kyle is a strong girl who went through a lot of bad in life. I like the friendship with Bruce Wayne and the artwork is phenomenal. I think I would read anything Isaac Goodhart illustrates.

Final Verdict: I would recommend this to fans of Catwoman, graphic novels, stories with sensitive topics like abuse, and strong female leads.
