I was really excited to read this book because I heard so many good
things about it but when I read it I was sadly disappointed, the book
did not captivate me, parts of the book were entertaining but overall I
was disappointed.

I did not like that Rose and Lissa kept
alluding to things that had happened before. Usually I am ok with it
but I was confused for much of the book, I kind of felt like I had not
read a prequel that would have cleared things up for me I don't know.

Maybe I will try and read it again later or like the sequels better.

This vampire novel is vey different from the other ones such as twilight. It is a whiff of fresh air because it has new names and types of vampires. I admire Rose's attitude toward life and i can relate alot to her. When her crush toward Dimitri is described i feel almost as if its me crushing on him.I love how Lisa and Rose's friendship overcomes everything.

I liked this book a lot as in like a lot-a lot. I think it was a good book for the people who
like the House Of Night series because it's a little bit similar. But not
similar enough that it's the same events. The beginning had me reading only one to five chapters a
night... But when I really got into it, I couldn't put the book down! 
Now I'm waiting until I can go out and buy the second one and the next books!

vampire academy is a great book. i thought it was interesting that the auther created a world that had three types of vampires. the moiri (living vampires), dhampire (half vampire), and the strigoi (the immortal undead). moiri and dhampir go to schools around the world to learn how to be proper vampire citizens. this book had a lot of action and great characters. it was a great read.

My favorite favorite book!!! i loved loved loved it! i love this whole series! i think its so awesome that she has a bond with lissa and she can feel what she thinking and feeling! all from a car accident! and when they start to run and dimitri comes to take them back to school was awesome! he is a bad boy! but so is she! such a trouble maker! i love it! and i love that she started having feelings for dimitri! they are so cute together!

this book is really good. i loved how the author described the characters and the setting. it has a wonderful storyline. the author gives all the characters a strong connection to each other and the bond between lissa and rose is amazing. i couldnt believe the ending it was sooo unexpected but i couldnt seem to put the book down :]]]

The back of the book is a bit misleading to me because it makes it sound like Lissa is the main character of the novel, when really Rose is. To me, this is a good thing because I really like Rose... I think Lissa's perspective of situations would be a lot more boring. Vampire Academy is one of my favorite books. Richelle Mead creates an interesting world and does a great job of explaining the complexities of what it means to be Moroi, Dhampir, and Strigoi. I really enjoyed the romantic plot lines as well... that was probably one of the more addicting aspects of the book! 10 out of 10!

This is one of my favorite books!

Rose is a girl who is comitted to protecting her friend from enemies. Rose and her friend get caght and have to go back to school. Rose didnt know that she would be personally trained by a hot teacher though. See what happens...........

I love the suspense and the mystery of who is the bad guy. I dont think the books were bad.
Boys wont like it at all. It would be a great movie.

My favorite New vampire series, the vampires are unique, royals are to be protected and they can control one of the elements(ex. fire, water, spirit... etc)and then there's the other species call it starts with a d-(i'm just gonna call them d-vampires)they are trained to became the royals guardians. Rose protects lissa(bff's) they ran away from vampire academy a few years ago, soon they finally get caught and taken back to school.they had their teen problems like rebelling, love, social status problems. I just loved the story. Richelle Mead is an awesome writer. I love this book. I'm always looking for a new Vampire books. I totally recommend it for vampire lovers.

Vampire academy is a story about two girls one a vampire one half vampire on the run from their school. Lisa is the last dragomir princess and her best friend rose is her guardian. two years ago. When they finnally get captured they have to find out why lisa is acting so strange. On top of that Rose has to have practice with her hot instructer while dening her growing atraction to him.
  This book was great. the budding romance is really cool.the vampire world is very different in a good way. And the friend ship between Rose and Lisa is awesome.
