Our household LOVES Vordak! I was able to grab a galley at ALA this summer. When son found out a rep from Egmont gave me a copy? Well, he snatched the book out of my bag and rushed upstairs.

Later, I heard giggles from his bedroom!

This is book three of a very fun, addictive series with a super villain who shares his plot to take over the world. In DOUBLE TROUBLE, Vordak tries to clone himself with hilarious results.

The dialogue had my eleven year old in stitches. Underwear and gassy are mentioned more than a few times! Yes, even I can't resist giggling over a gassy comment! The dialogue is punchy and hilarious. The illustrations also add to this rambunctious journey of Vordak's mentoring of another super villain.

As an educator, I know books like these are perfect for those reluctant readers. DOUBLE TROUBLE is one fast-paced ride into the world of a super villain that is humorous with an appealing format that for sure will appeal to fans of THE WIMPY KID. **Oops, don't tell Vordak I just compared him to that!

DOUBLE TROUBLE has the perfect mix of humor, action, and a kick butt villain that will worm himself into a tween's heart.
