Something terrifying is happening in the world of the Clans. Amid the destruction of the forest, cats are disappearing, including ThunderClan's beloved medicine cat apprentice, Leafpaw. Now the young cats who set off on a quest many moons ago have returned with a chilling message: The Clans must move to a new home, or risk extermination.

But it is not easy to convince the cats to leave. Even if all four Clans agreed to travel together, the dangers waiting for them beyond their borders are impossible to predict. More importantly, even the questing cats have no idea where they're supposed to go. What they need is a sign from StarClan . . . but what they need most of all is a plan to save their missing warriors, or risk leaving them behind forever.

The traveling cats have finally returned home! But along with their return, comes news of grave danger. The clan cats have been holding out for a while against the advancing two-legs for a while, but how much longer can they stay in their territories? The two-legs have been ripping up trees and clearing land for new buildings and everyday the cats live in fear of the on coming monsters. The returning cats have met Midnight, and bring a message from StarClan: they must unite and leave their territories and settle elsewhere, or their clans will be destroyed! But the clans have lived in their territories for as long as any cat can remember—will they listen to the warning or will they all join StarClan?

To top all the problems off, cats have gone missing from every clan! Sorreltail watched in horror as her friend was caught in a twoleg’s trap and taken away—will this be the fate of more clan cats? Not if ThunderClan has anything to say about it! Graystripe heads a rescue mission, but during it, a beloved cat is captured! Will they ever see the cat again?

Meanwhile, WindClan has suffered terribly, and Tallstar implores Firestar to take StarClan’s message and begin their journey to a new home. Firestar knows his own clan cannot survive much longer, but wishes for all four clans to come—there has always been four clans in their territory, and one watching from above, that’s how it should always be. But RiverClan has no intention of leaving—they have been the least affected by the changes.

However, when the monsters invade ShadowClan’s camp at last and the water level in the river drops, RiverClan is finally convinced that all the clans must leave. But where will the four clans go? When will StarClan send a signal?

Join the clans on an adventure of a lifetime as they are forced to move on as they survive! Can the cats unite to save their clans on the perilous journey? Will the missing cat be found or will the clans be forced to leave the cat behind? Where will the clans go? And when old friends are reunited, new decisions, however hard, must be made. Will the clans make it through such hard trials together?

Readers following the chosen cats’ journey will enjoy this third installment to the Warriors: The New Prophecy series! However, despite the fact it will answer (and open up!) many questions, I do not think this book is truly as good as the previous, original Warrior series. It does not have the same charm, spark, and elaborate and fascinating plot as the previous set did. But if you are a Warriors fan, or a cat or adventure lover in general, you may still enjoy this series!

When the chosen cats finally return home, one of the hardest parts of their mission faces them: they must convince their clans to leave their home and travel to new territory. But with the "twolegs" demolishing the place where they call home, the cats have no choice but to move to a new place. During their journey difficult terrain and weather put doubts in the cats' minds. Will they unite to battle the trouble ahead? Or will they fall apart? Will they ever reach their new home? Read Dawn to find out!

People who liked the other Warrior books will most likely enjoy this book as well. Although not my favorite book in this series, it was still enjoyable and I can't wait for the next book!
