This is a very good book. Join Emily, Dru, Holly, and all of her other friends in this book. Emily and Holly are going to France so that Emily can learn more French than seh already knows. Read as Emily is forced to keep her realistic babydoll from school to learn about pregnancy, only gets to soend a week with her boyfriend Devon, is robbed by children, causes a rollerblading pileup, and is locked in the church of notre dame. Read this funny book the third in the emily series.

Ahh..Paris, the romantic city of lights, usually people dream of eating croissants in quaint cafes, looking down the Eiffel Tower, and romantic moonlit walks. Not for Emily though, as we find out through her e-mails. Her rollerblades go crazy and she causes many casualties, she breaks into a gift shop to use the bathroom, and her plans with her boyfriend don't exactly work out the way she had hoped. Did I forget to mention that during her whole trip to Paris that she has to carry along and take care of a crying, wetting, fake baby? It's a hilarious book and I encourage you to read it, who knows maybe you'll learn some French for a trip to Paris, I just hope your vacation goes better than Emily's.

Katie Maxwell's books never let me down. They make me laugh out loud each and every time! This series is about Emily, an American girl living in England ebcause her Dad teaches medieval history there. She travels for school projects all over Europe - Scotland, now Paris, France for Spring Break to learn French (or tries to). Yeah! She can't wait.
Through her emails with her best friend Dru in America you can read about her totally funny and adventurous time in France. You won't believe what she goes through when she has to take her fake baby on the trip becasue she missed the date to turn it back in to her teacher (Her high school is doing a pregnancy prevention program). Her mishaps will have you in tears of enjoyment. Emily's personality is so spunky. She's very smart, but her character is girly girl and daredevil. Many will find a little (or a lot) of Emily in them, as well.
This book was very entertaining and kept me reading page after page. I can't wait to read the next book in this amazingly quirky series.
