Throwing a party is a great way to express your personality and celebrate special friendships. Need ideas for an upcoming bash? "Lets Party!" provides eight cool and complete party plans, which will reflect one's own unique style, like the "Sensational Spa" and the "Spy Thriller Party." With mix n' match party ideas, quizzes, and personality-specific troubleshooting tips, "Let's Party!" is the perfect guide for any aspiring hostess, whether she's a control chick or an improv queen!
Girls will find lots of positive, original concepts for get-togethers and discover more about their own style through fun personality quizzes in "Let's Party!," the second book in the Lobster Press series, What's Your Style? This book also gives parents fresh ideas for planning pre-teen and tween birthday and holiday parties. A great impulse buy for parents to pick up to their daughters, and for friends to give to each other.

So, you wanna have a party, but youre not really sure how to go about it and you really want to make it a memorable time (not just some blah-de-blah same-ol-same-ol kind of shindig)? Check out Alison Bells Lets Party>, part of the Whats Your Style series from Lobster Press.

First, take a quiz and find out what your party profile is (control chick, improv queen, etc.). Thatll help you figure out which type of party you might be best suited to throwing, or you can just jump right in and choose a party based on theme.

The themes range from Spy Party to Hawaiian Luau to Fortune Telling. Each one includes a party description, tips, a quiz to get you interested, recipes, decorating ideas, activity ideas and even playlist ideas.

Everything is laid out well enough that even a pre-teen could throw her own party with minimal help (and I say her, since the book is definitely more gal-focused than guy-friendly&I dont know too many guys that would go for a Spa party or a Makeover party). This book is equally good for older teens and I could even see college age girls finding it helpful. The colorful illustrations are a bonus.

Pick up a copy of this one and make your next party a success. Recommended for girls aged 12 and up.
