Phantom Island: Wind is probably one of the best books I've read, in a long time. From the very beginning, the use of imagery, and perspective paints a picture of the life of Whitnee Terradora. This book was like an oasis in the desert that is local author's books. The vivid White Island with its inhabitants sucks you in, and you turn the pages. This book has many of the things teens and young adults crave in literature. Action, adventure, romance, and suspense. Personally, if this book had a genre, it would be "Awesome." It's contents don't really fit with just one genre. The uses of the four elements catches the eye of the imaginative; not unlike the popular tv show Avatar: The Last Airbender. In conclusion, this was a very satisfying book. I completely enjoyed this book. Congrats, Krissi on this masterpiece.
