This summer, Jess is a counselor at a camp for musically gifted children, trying to stay low and undetected, even with the Feds spying on her. But then one day, a man visits her, pleading her to find his daughter, and she reluctantly agrees...which puts herself and a camper in danger.

The second book of the series is good, with humor, suspense, and all you could ask for from a Meg Cabot book.

I'm a big fan of Meg Cabot, so to be honest, I read this out of loyalty. It has Meg's signature wit and humor, but the story is predictable, a little bit lame if you ask me. Meg is trying to hard to make Jess sounds mature, tough and at the same time likable but maybe she's trying too hard.

Jess Mastriani is spending her summer as a camp counselor. But her summer is anything but ordinary. That's because Jess has the physcic ability to locate missing people. However, though she's told everyone that her special powers are gone (because the press and federal agents kept bothering her), one man approaches her, desperate to find his daughter. And she agrees to help...

As always Meg Cabot stuns the reader, in a good way of course! This book like all the rest of hers is amazing, with steller details and an amazing plot-line! This one is definately a must read! However, beware, because once you read this one you'll want to read the rest of the series!! haha It's quite addicting! Too bad the series has ended..of course there's always the tv show!

I Love this book!!!!! It was awesome. It is about how Jess gets hit by a lightning bolt and then is able to find missing kids. This story grabs ahold of you and you cant stop reading. This book has it all: action, suspense and a little romance.

The second book in Meg Cabot's 1-800-where-R-you series is an excellent book. She keeps the series movineg with a little of everything. A little action, romance, mystery, its a mixing of success.
Jess Mastriani, would like the Feds to think that her powers of finding missing people are gone yet finds it nearly impossible to keep up the act. When working at a summer camp for musically gifted kids, Jess is confronted by a a distressed father who's daughter has gone missing. Jess once again is faced with the Feds and a very angry stepdad who would like to see her dead.
We also see more of the Rob Wilkin's factor, which is part of the reason I like this book so much.
I reccomend this book to mostly girls but if you guys would like the read it, then all the more power to ya. If you read it you will love it. If you dont read it you so are missing out.

My review above was meant for the book 1-800-Where-R-You When lighting strikes, sorry. This book, Code Name Cassandra is the second book in the series. This book is a little better than the first book. In this book Jess is finding out that her special powers are stonger that she thought. This one is just as exciting as the first. Also in this book you will see more of Rob and what does that mean? Is he finally going to ask Jess out? You will have to read to find out!

Meg Cabot is one of my favorite writers. Out of all the series this one, to me, is the second best. The Mediator series is number one! This is the first book in the series and one of the most exciting. In this book Jess (the main character) gets hit by lighting and this causes her to find missing children. After that one day, her life changes forever. Thoughout this book she will, punch a star football player, meet a hot guy in detention, out smart the Feds numerus times, and save missing kids too. A MUST READ!

This book was interesting. A girl gets struck by lightning and is able to find missing kids after looking at their picture and going to sleep. She's pursued by the government because they want to use her special skills. She lies to the public to get away from the government and the publicity. She tells everyone her "powers" are gone. But something happens so that she has to use her powers again. And then she's been found out that she does indeded still have her powers.

The plot is interesting, but it's one of those stories where the main character is always in some kind of danger and has to fight and save her life, and all that stuff. And truly, reading about those close-to-death encounters can get really boring sometimes. They just get tedious. So this book was good, but the action gets old.
