50/50 Monologues for Student Actors was a great set of monologues! It is a book of 100 monologues - 50 for girls and 50 for guys. There was a lot of diversity with them, that would allow for monologues for tons of different shows.
I loved that there was a wide range of ages the monologues would be appropriate for. There were a ton of older students, but quite a few for younger students as well - making this a great tool for someone to use for many years.
There were a few monologues I wasn't as crazy about, but there were quite a few I absolutely loved. My favorite for the girl monologues were: "Would You Read the Label?", "They Do", "The Interview", and "48 States in 52 Weeks" and for guys I really liked "I Fly", "The Interview", "I Know", "The Invasion", and "I Could Have Been Fred Astaire". My favorite monologue for the whole book I think was the guy's monlogue "Welcome to Wanda and Wally's World" - It was SO funny! "Would You Read the Label" came in a close second for a favorite. The monologues just covered such a diverse amount of topics, it really was hard to think of a favorite!
50/50 Monologues for Student Actors was so much fun to read. The monologues ranged from making me laugh, to having some awfully sad ones. It is a great tool!
