She writes all about her hopes and dreams in a diary. All is good until this dairy is published. and everyone knows all about her and thoughts. During her journey finds out about herself and those around her. She learns to appreciate life.
this is a new twist on the same old theme. A girl learns about herself and others, and learns to appreciate others. It is cool, and their are some laugh out loud moments, but nothing truley amazing

I was laughing almost the entire time I read this book. It is absolutely hilarious. Although I would not suggest that a male read this book, as they problably woldnot like it that much, I think it would be a great book for girls to read. I really enjoyed reading about how Jayme became a bestselling author, and how she was able to save her friendships. Overall, this was just a wonderfull book that eeps people laughing.

Jamie Bartlett is completely ordinary and unnoticeable. But when she inadvertantly turns in her journal entry in place of an English assignment and her teacher reads it aloud, people start noticing her. First it's all the students in school who love the story. Then it's a literary agent and publishing houses. Before Jamie knows it, she's a published author at age fourteen! She's swept into a world of interviews, photo ops, book signings, and the most popular boy in her grade (Marco Vega) finally learning her name. Jamie is convinced that being popular and noticed is the best thing in the world, but her friends show her what is really important, and she proves to herself that nice girls can finish first. The cute and cozy book you get from reading this book makes it perfect for a rainy day, though it's just as good on a sunny one.

This book is very interesting..Julia DeVillers focuses on the conflict clearly..I like how the plot of the story was planned..This book is about a girl that accidentally switches her homework with her online diary and her story gets published..She was surprised and excited at first but she realized there was more to fame in being popular..The main character soon learns the value of fame..

I liked this book a lot! I heard that it is turning into a Disney Channel movie called Read it and Weep. I am not too happy about that because they will twist it around and make it completely different. I thought that this book was creative and original. I liked how the author did little excerpts from the story about IS. And I liked how they had to figure out who it was by the screenname!

How embarrassing would it be if your private journal were published? Jamie discovers the answer to this question when her journal, filled with dreams of a superhero to fight off her catty classmates, becomes a bestseller! Jamie is an ordinary girl with problems with the snobby girls in her class and annoyed at the pictures of perfect, skinny girls in magazines. The only way she can make herself feel better is to fantasize about a superhero who can defeat all her enemies. This was a hilarious book with great narration.
