Jamie Bartlett is completely ordinary and unnoticeable. But when she inadvertantly turns in her journal entry in place of an English assignment and her teacher reads it aloud, people start noticing her. First it's all the students in school who love the story. Then it's a literary agent and publishing houses. Before Jamie knows it, she's a published author at age fourteen! She's swept into a world of interviews, photo ops, book signings, and the most popular boy in her grade (Marco Vega) finally learning her name. Jamie is convinced that being popular and noticed is the best thing in the world, but her friends show her what is really important, and she proves to herself that nice girls can finish first. The cute and cozy book you get from reading this book makes it perfect for a rainy day, though it's just as good on a sunny one.

This book is very interesting..Julia DeVillers focuses on the conflict clearly..I like how the plot of the story was planned..This book is about a girl that accidentally switches her homework with her online diary and her story gets published..She was surprised and excited at first but she realized there was more to fame in being popular..The main character soon learns the value of fame..

When14 year old Jamie Bartlett turns in a journal entrry in instaed of an English homework assingment, things get topsy-turvy! Ever since she wrote a story about a super powered girl named Isabella(a.k.a. IS),the stereotype-defying superteen, her life hasen't been the same. Now she is appearing at book signings, flying to L.A., hanging out with celebraties, and even dating the cuttest guy in her school, Marco Vega! Will all this attention go to her head or will she remember the lesson IS taught her?
