The idea of where Roman numerals started and how they later weren’t as common when Arabic numerals took over is touched upon, while Roman places such as theaters, baths, and towers are explored with pictures and brief explanations.

A government called the Republic is shared, from the Senate to public assembly and even togas (worn by senators to symbolize their office) that lend to the character of those aspects of Roman history. Roman inventions, including construction machinery, and Roman architects construction of arches is detailed alongside descriptions of the people who defined the times.
