Playful Steps for Calming Down

Counting to Calm is a board book designed for the youngest of readers to begin the steps of self-regulation. Calming down is broken down into fun and playful steps with rhyming lyrics making it easy to follow along and feel like a game. The pictures reflect a young reader making it relatable to the intended audience. If you acted out the steps along with our character you would be calmer and ready to begin your day or to begin again after big emotions. Overall, this book is designed as a first step for toddlers+ to learn mindfulness and calming down techniques and I think it would work great for this purpose.
