MY BIG PLAYBOOK: THINGS THAT GO is a fun, interactive board book for infants and young toddlers that love vehicles. The book includes numbers, noises, and a few types of vehicles along with flaps to lift and plenty of vehicles to spot.

What I loved: This is a colorful and fun board book, great for little vehicle lovers. The book uses trucks, cars, and other vehicles to introduce numbers (counting up to five), basic colors, and different vehicle types. The felt flaps are a nice touch to help make it feel more interactive, and the mirror at the end is great for the littlest readers.

Each image is full of color and adorable personified vehicles in Arrhenius's usual style. The illustrations are very cute and include guiding backgrounds to shift from one object/idea to the next. Truck lovers will adore checking out all their favorites and exploring along the way. The noises in particular are a big hit for the littlest readers who will enjoy seeing the sounds the different vehicles make.

What left me wanting more: As a small thing, the concepts felt a bit scattered and there was not a lot of extra information provided. This will make it work best for infants, as it might seem too young for toddlers. The mirror also felt a bit randomly placed/forced into the book, but babies will still enjoy seeing themselves!
