A beautiful story about a family who shows their love in a multitude of ways
There are so many ways to say “I love you” without saying a word! One little girl sees the love shown in her family by the way they nurture one another through stories, food, and spending time together. With great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, and siblings around, there are so many ways for love to shine through.

Beautiful Reminder
When Love Is More Than Words is a gorgeous picture book with heartfelt sentiments on a family’s expressions of love. In this character’s family, it is not all about saying I love you and giving hugs and kisses to make sure each family member feels loved. It is about the acts of daily service, care, and sacrifice that show in all the ways that you are loved. The full bellies from the labors of the family garden, the flowers planted at a child’s birth, caring for the elders and young ones when they are sick, playing together, and cooking together are the many ways to show love for those you care about. It was a refreshing reminder that not everything can be bought and we shouldn’t overlook the wealth of love the ones we love show us in their care. Overall, it is a beautiful reminder for any reader young or old about love.
