Entertaining book of cool facts!
EPIC FACTOPIA! is a highly engaging illustrated book of facts about all sorts of different topics. The book follows a dotted trail along each page with facts woven along it, using word art and illustrations to help convey the facts to readers. A table of contents at the beginning will help readers find a specific topic if they want to come back to it in the future.
What I loved: This is a clever and entertaining nonfiction book that will appeal to kids who love to learn and particularly enjoy random facts. I loved all the color and lush images throughout, including photographs that help to present the facts chosen. The variety of facts is fantastic, and there is plenty to learn throughout the book. There are lots of facts that I did not even know – and it’s fun to learn something new!
The book is easy to flow through with the line to follow and entertaining messages on every page. This is a fun adventure, and a comparatively quick read, as each page spread has a limited number of facts (much less than the typical chapter book, for example). This will work well for readers who are advancing beyond picture books and love to learn new things.
Final verdict: EPIC FACTOPIA! is a highly engaging and entertaining collection of facts. With numerous illustrations and photographs throughout, there is plenty to visually explore while learning about many cool things around the world!
