Interactive Read

Betty’s Birthday is a simple story of being excited by a birthday. However, the illustrations are the masterpiece and true focus of the book. The book is oversized and the illustrations are a chaos of details. The text engages the reader on each page to participate with their imaginations or to play seek and find games. It is entertaining that the illustrations take on an Ispy or Highlight Hidden Pictures quality. This book may not be for someone who can be easily overstimulated by visual data. Overall, this was a fun interactive read that is sure to be a delight to readers.
