What I loved: This is a fun assortment for vehicle lovers who will enjoy making all of the colorful artwork as they paint by sticker. These books are great for developing hand-eye coordination and number recognition. The stickers peel up easily from the sticker pages, and they can be pulled up and replaced on the intended page in case of misplacement or misalignment. There are a lot of different shapes to place as well as sizes.

The breadth of difficulty is also great in this book, with some images being easier or harder to create. For instance, the school bus has a lot of bigger stickers that would be easier to place than some of the small, detailed stickers for the dump truck or excavator. The pages are also perforated, so they can be easily removed for ease of creating and displaying once finished. It's self-contained, which also makes it a great choice for travel and on-the-go creativity.

Paint By Stickers: Trucks, Trains, & More is perfect for children ages 5 and up! I used this book as a craft choice with a group of children between the ages of 5 and 6 years old that I was working with. The sturdy page thickness allowed me to easily rip the page and the sticker sheet out so that each child could work on the picture they chose. I had a bit of trepidation that, with the young children having small stickers of 50-70 pieces that they might require intensive adult help, but it didn’t seem to be the case. They were easily able to get the sticker off the page and seemed to have enough number knowledge to find the corresponding space on the page. They all worked for a solid thirty minutes, intensely focused. No one finished before we were scheduled to move on to another activity, but since they were able to take them home, no one had a problem with stopping, which is another bonus that this is an easily portable self contained activity. Overall, this made for the perfect crafting choice for its non-messy and easily portable nature that kept 7 children happily entertained for a sustained length of time with no frustration evident. I am extremely pleased with this activity book and will keep it in mind for future use.
