In Love From Clifford, we get to learn everything that his best friend, Emily Elizabeth, loves about him.
What I liked: Each page of this book has a sweet illustration highlighting one of the reasons that Emily Elizabeth loves her dog, Clifford. This book highlights reasons why Emily loves Clifford and also what loving him means. Some of those things include hugs and kisses, watching him grow, being brave, and learning something new.
The simple illustrations throughout this book go great with the text and highlight the various ways love is shown. Each page has an illustration of Emily and Clifford, and the size of the illustrations does a fantastic job in showcasing the big difference between Emily’s and Clifford’s height.
Final Verdict: Love from Clifford is a perfect gift for anyone you want to express your affection to, whenever you want to say, “I love you.” Children ages 3 and up will enjoy listening to this book, especially if they are familiar with Emily and Clifford. Adults will enjoy revisiting these two characters and sharing how love shows up for them.
