fun and educational read about bees
BEES (EARTH’S SMALLEST SUPERHEROES) is an engaging and educational read all about Bees. The story includes different topics with themes for each page spread, along with informative text and images/photographs.
What I loved: This is a really informative and educational read with a lot of cool facts about bees. The book covers some of their qualities that make them superheroes (such as helping with a lot of the food we eat) and their special eyesight and wings. It also dives into their hives, social structures, threats to their survival, and more. Children can learn a lot about bees throughout the book!
The photographs and illustrations are really well done throughout, with a lot of really detailed up-close images that seem truly impressive! The information is well-organized and keeps readers interested throughout. Backmatter includes a glossary for understanding new words.
Final verdict: BEES (EARTH’S SMALLEST SUPERHEROES) is an engaging nonfiction read that curious children will really get into with plenty of cool facts and photographs!
